Climb aboard and experience New York from inside Ecto-1.
Starting on Manhattan's West Side, we'll take you through the city to iconic filming locations including Spook Central on Central Park West, the New York Public Library, locations from Frozen Empire, and the legendary Hook & Ladder 8 in Tribeca.
Along the way, you'll ride through some of Manhattan's most famous streets, stop for photos, see the locations up close — and experience the reactions that come with cruising through New York City in Ecto-1.

“Who ya gonna call?” Gotham Cinema Rides for all your spook and specter needs. Our tour guide, Nick, gave us a tour of all the haunted locations from spook central to the firehouse. He was absolutely awesome!!!! 🙌🏻The tour was nonstop fun with movie history, laughter, “who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters!!” heard yelling from the streets, the sites and sounds of the city and of course a lot of ghosts! For a spooktacular time call Gotham Cinema Rides, to make your dream come true by riding in Ecto-1 and other classic movie cars! My husband is a huge fan of the Ghostbusters and this was a dream of his since he was a little kid...this ghost tour and it was everything we could have imagined and more!! We highly recommend it, over and over!! Thank you again, so so much, for such an awesome experience and time spent in the city!!! It’ll be one we’ll never forget!!! 🤗🤗

We had the most amazing time with Gotham Cinema Rides doing the Ghostbusters tour in Ecto-1! Being picked up in the iconic Ecto-1 was unreal and such a thrill for any Ghostbusters fan. The attention to detail on the car is amazing, and seeing people’s reactions as we drove through the city made it even more fun. I surprised my ghostbuster obsessed son and husband, their reaction was priceless, definitely a core memory we will never forget 🩷 Nick was absolutely brilliant, so friendly and easy to chat to, and you could tell how much he loves what he does. He made the whole experience feel really personal and fun, and was amazing with our little boy which made it even better, also made sure we got loads of photos and snacks along the way! This was such a fantastic experience and genuinely one of the most memorable things we did in NYC. Could not recommend Gotham Cinema Rides enough!!! 😍

Probably fair to say I was waiting for this moment my whole life. Spending an evening with Nick cruising Manhattan on a Ghost Tour in Gotham’s incredible Ectomobile was just about the coolest thing I’ve ever done in NYC - and I’ve lived here for 20 years! Riding around in this iconic car and visiting three iconic filming locations from the film brought joy to my whole crew (aged 12-50) as well as just about everyone who caught a glimpse of us as we drove by. Cheers, photos, and shouts of “Ghostbusters!” Followed us everywhere we went. Suffice to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience for kids and kids at heart alike, and I’d highly recommend this tour to all Ghostbusters fans when making a visit to New York. I love this town!

Everything you want to see in the city is on this tour, but you get to do it from inside Ecto-1! Nick is a fantastic host, pointing out so many cool things throughout the trip. Providing colorful commentary and the perfect soundtrack to the whole experience. This was a dream come true for me. You really feel like a Ghostbuster when cruising through the city and every person gets excited and scrambles for their phone when they hear the iconic siren and see the Ecto-1 coming down the street. It is magical. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

90 MINUTES OF ECTO-1, NYC & MOVIE HISTORY
Starting outside the Javits Center on 11th Avenue, climb aboard Ecto-1 for a 90-minute journey through Manhattan, visiting iconic filming locations and landmarks along the way.
Your route takes you uptown to Central Park West before crossing Manhattan and heading south down Fifth Avenue, eventually finishing at the legendary Hook & Ladder 8 in Tribeca.
